Gucci Fall Winter 2017

Praising the old while blending with the new, on 22nd of February in Milan, Mister Alessandro Michele outdid himself with the latest Gucci show.

Reinventing past trends and fashions and at the same time playing with color palettes so well, Alessandro helped Gucci gain even more customers and admirers. Working for an already established brand, season after season he takes his creativity to the next level, and gives us the chance to peek into his very colorful mind.

For Gucci Fall Winter 2017 collection, every look had a character, every model was transformed and got your attention. We saw Japanese parasols, French pearly heels, Richie Tenenbaum’s headbands, gypsies, 70’s disco outfits and 80’s inspired hairstyles.

“More is More” with Gucci. Every one of these 120 looks/characters was different, had so many details, and played a different role in Gucci’s play, in which Alessandro Michele was the director. He payed homage to so many cultures and periods of time and made them so urban. His transformative power knows no limits.

I wish to spend just one day in his mind, and see the world through his colors. I know it will be worth it.

This was a show worth watching and a brand worth following.

Yours fashionably,

Mademoiselle Matea
